Track and Field Team Marks Another Successful Meet at the Armory

The indoor track and field team traveled to NY again last weekend to compete in the Hispanic Games at the New Balance Track and Field at the Armory. Competing against 14 other combined teams, our Auks recorded several personal bests and one school record.
On January 6th, highlights included:

- Camilo Alvarez '24 broke Nick Donelson’s '23 800m school record with a time of 2:01.24
- Jack Maister '24 won the long jump with a new personal best of 22-08, which puts him at #13 in the US
- Alaina Thomas '27 won the Varsity Silver section of the 1 Mile with a time of 5:37
- Gia Giorgianni '24 won her section of high jump with a jump of 4-07

Unbelievable, Auks! 👏 Both teams will participate in a Quad Meet at Tower Hill on Friday, January 12th.
