Girls Basketball Scores Early and Fast Against St. George's

Archmere jumped out to a 15-1 lead after one quarter, and the Auks were never in trouble in a 49-17 girls basketball win over St. Georges on January 26th at the Moglia Fieldhouse. Archmere’s defense kept the Hawks from getting good looks, and they limited St. Georges to a single shot on most possessions.
Bridget Malloy '26 got the scoring started early with a three-pointer, and from then on the Auks continued to move the ball well against St. George's press, dominating each quarter. In total, seniors Lucy Oliver led the Auks with 20 points while Leah Boyer added 11. Sophomore Bridget Malloy recorded 9 points. Archmere hosts Middletown on Monday, January 29th at 6:15 p.m.
