83rd Archmere Academy Commencement Exercises

Archmere Academy welcomed 124 alumni into its ranks during Commencement ceremonies on June 4 in the school’s performing arts center. Bishop Malooly presided. Alison Lobo was the Valedictorian, and Christopher (Max) Beck the Salutatorian. 
 
The winner of the Archmere Medal, the school’s most prestigious award given annually to the student whom the faculty believes best exemplifies the ideals and values of Archmere, was Matthew Groum. The school’s second highest honor, the Activities Medal, which recognizes service and participation, was awarded to Catherine Lawless.
 
Departmental honors went to Blake Parker, Theology; Emma Stovicek, English and Humanities; Abby Kraus, Forensics; Alison Lobo, Math, Science, and Spanish; Abigail Turley, Music Instrumental; Anna Cassidy, French; Caroline Quinn, Music - Vocal; Erika South, German; Haley Levinsky, Christian Service; Idana tang, Computer Science and Technology; Keelin Reilly, Drama; Matthew Groum, History; Naomi Graf, Art; Olivia O'Dwyer, Chinese. Maggie Malloy won the Women’s Athletics Medal, and Patrick Udovich won for Men’s Athletics.
