Library

Archmere’s Library, the largest classroom in the school, supports the mission and curriculum of Archmere Academy and assists students and faculty in achieving their potential as self-confident lifelong learners. To accomplish these goals, the Library provides a quiet, spacious oasis in which to work and study, print and non-print resources, instruction in information fluency, collaboration with faculty and students, a teacher-certified Librarian and an Assistant Librarian.
 
Library resources include:
    15,000 volumes (includes print and e-books)
    50 print magazine subscriptions
    8 print newspaper subscription
    Charging stations for laptops
    Online card catalog and circulation system
    24/7 access to UDLib/SEARCH through the University of Delaware (30+ full-text online encyclopedias, periodical databases, and electronic books)
