HOBY believes that all students have the potential to lead, and programming like CLeW brings students from different backgrounds, cultures, and communities together.

  • Participating in activities exploring leadership
  • Discovering your leadership skills and how to use them
  • Collaborating with other students from other Delaware high schools
  • Learning strategies to about make a positive impact in their school and community
HOBY Delaware was first started in 1977 with one of the country’s first State Leadership Seminars. With the help of the Delaware State Federation of Women’s Clubs, a service organization that continues to offer invaluable support to our programs, HOBY Delaware began making a difference in the lives of high school students.

Introduction to Drawing Classes Inspired by Historic Campus Buildings

Students in Ms. Briggs' and Mrs. Lyko's Introduction to Drawing classes have been enjoying the spring weather on campus. For one week students drew inspiration from Archmere's historic buildings: The Manor and The Patio. This is a great way to utilize our onsite architecture while spending productive time outside of the classroom.
