Archmere Academy Commencement Exercises

Archmere Academy welcomed 129 alumni into its ranks during Commencement ceremonies on June 1st in the newly renovated Rocco A. and Mary Abessinio Performing Arts Center. The Baccalaureate Liturgy & Commencement Exercises were also live streamed for friends and family to view on the Archmere YouTube Channel.
Our Auks have traded their green and white to become Green Terrors, Red Devils, Yellowjackets, a Gamecock, Bulldog, Blue Hens and Blue Hose, Scarlett Knights, Orange, and Wolverines. We have Wildcats at Villanova, New Hampshire, Davidson, and Kentucky. We even boast a Stag and a Sage Hen. The Class of 2025 is full of explorers with many confident to set their own course. This year's graduates will be attending schools in 23 different states and the District of Columbia, 22 are enrolled in schools that no other Archmere graduate presently attends, and these Auks, traveling from places like Lancaster to Los Angeles, Boston to Boulder, and DC to Dallas, will attend universities an average of 379 miles away from Archmere.

The 129 members of the Class of 2025 will matriculate at 67 different colleges and universities. Rewards and recognitions have come their way as well; as a group they have been rightfully and collectively recognized by colleges, universities and outside groups with over $25 million in Scholarships and Grants.

Class of 2025 Valedictorian is Grace Yang, and the Salutatorian, Brianna Yang. Grace will attend Brown University to study Health and Human Biology as part of the Program in Liberal Medical Education (PLME). PLME is an eight-year combined baccalaureate-M.D. medical program offered by Brown University. This fall, Brianna is headed off to Yale University to study Economics.

Charlie Malloy received the Archmere Medal, the school’s most prestigious award, which is given to the senior whom the faculty believes best exemplifies the ideals and values of Archmere. The Activity Medal, the second-highest honor, went to Bridget McNamara. The Activity Medal recognizes service and participation.

Charlie Malloy was recognized for excellence in boys athletics, and Carly Polsky won the award for girls athletics.
