Monthly College Counseling Update: December 2025

Semester grades will become official next week and College Counseling will forward them to all schools that seniors have an active application at. The only schools that will not receive a transcript are those that we did not send an original to (self report schools). Colleges have begun to request updated grades from students, we will forward as soon as we possibly can. Students who saw a defer decision in early action or early decision should consider a point-of-contact after grades are sent and can reference out Defer Guide. 

 

On February 6th, there is a special schedule and seniors will participate in the Young Alumni Networking programs. We will welcome 15 - 20 young alumni to share their college and career journeys will seniors in a networking setup at the Patio. 

 

Juniors

All Junior Introductory meetings have been completed and we’ve visited Work Periods for a mini-seminar session about College Seminar and introspection. 

 

 

During the February 6th special schedule, juniors will be participating in a Young Alumni College & Career Panel with select professionals. 

 

Sophomores

On February 6th, sophomores will participate in the Young Alumni College & Career Panel with the junior class. 

 

First Year Students

On February 6th, Mr. Boehm will be doing programming entitled, The Great Sorting Game, with the Class of 2029. It’s a low pressure introduction to college admission and applications. 

 

Sophomore & First Year Parents

Are invited to attend virtual College Coffees on January 26/27 to discuss early college searches and how to better understand highly selective admission in order to promote a health college search. Registration will be emailed out in the near future.
