Boys Basketball Wins Cecil Green and Gold Holiday Tournament

Cecil College's Green and Gold High School Holiday Basketball Tournament brings together local basketball programs for two days of high school basketball over Christmas. Beginning with bracket play on December 29th, followed by consolation and championship match ups, the tournament was broken down between "gold" and "green" brackets across both boys and girls tournaments. The Archmere boys basketball team competed in the green bracket.

Their first game took place on the 29th at 4:30pm, where Archmere defeated the Tome School 66-52. They moved on to play Perryville High School for the Championship, winning 57-47 and taking home the Championship Title. Senior John Orisini was named to the All Tournament team, and sophomore Kevin Kozicki was named MVP.

The team is still undefeated, boasting a 5-0 record. On Friday, January 9th they will take on John Dickinson at home in the Moglia Fieldhouse, where they will play for win #6. Congratulations to the entire team!
