Record Breaking Night at the Armory for Track and Field Team

On Friday night, January 15th, the Archmere track and field team competed at the Steve Borbet Invitational, held at The Armory in NYC. Three school records fell as Marlise Harris lowered the 200m mark with a 27.03 (10th overall), while Riley Horsey shattered two long-standing records—placing 4th in the 800m (2:21.48) and breaking a 15-year-old record in the mile with a 5:10.69. Capping off the night, Kindred Ballard claimed the win in the girls shot put with a throw of 36-01.75—now 2-for-2 at The Armory this season!
