Cross Country Competes at Six Flags Wild Safari Invitational

With two big meets under their belt, the Archmere cross country team traveled to Jackson Township, NJ to participate in the Six Flags Wild Safari Invitational this past weekend. The team boasted 21 new personal best times at the Invitational, scoring high amongst the top teams in the area. Following their early race, the team enjoyed the Six Flags Park for the remainder of the day on Saturday.

The JV Girls placed 1st in their section and 2nd overall, out of 38 teams, while the Varsity Girls placed 2nd in their race and 4th overall, out of 79 teams. The JV Boys recorded a 9th place finish in their section and landed 21st overall, out of 62 teams, while the Varsity Boys placed 4th in their race and 16th overall, out of 90 teams.

Finishing with a time of 19:10, Riley Horsey '28 continues to climb the Archmere All-Time list, moving into 8th and 3rd in the sophomore class.
