Girls Cross Country Wins Diamond State Athletic Conference, Boys Place Second

Led by a 1st place finish by Riley Horsey in the Varsity Girls race, the girls won the DSAC Cross Country Championship on October 23. Held at Bellevue State park, the team’s first five runners finished in the top 10.
Owen Parson, Aidan Mahon, and Sunny Li all finished in the top 10 spots in the Varsity Boys race. The team finished 2nd, only 7 points behind Newark Charter.

The JV Girls had top 10 finishes by Juliet Bridgman (2nd), Sienna Mahon (4th), Caroline Scholl (5th), and Raina Christenson (6th), and a team finish of 1st place. The JV Boys had top 10 finishes by Charlie Hayes (7th) and Andrew Janes (9th) and a team finish of 2nd place.
