"Archmere used a strong defensive game and a series of high-percentage shots to take control of Concord in what resulted in a 43-33 win on Dec. 12 at Moglia Fieldhouse. The Auks needed a fourth-quarter comeback to defeat Tower Hill in their season opener a few days prior, but the script was different this time. Archmere kept pounding the ball inside against the taller Raiders, picking up offensive rebounds when they did miss shots, and scoring most of their points inside the paint."
Archmere's scoring opened with a layup by Kevin Kozicki '28, and was followed immediately by a 3-pointer by Khaleef Wilson Jr. '29. Mark Mervine '26 caught a pass under the hoop and went off glass, and Archmere was on top by a 12-5 score to end the first quarter. The game progressed with 8 different Archmere players adding points to the board. John Orsini '26 led the Auks with 14 points, and Noah Blessington '26 recorded 8. Archmere is now 2-0 and is until December 29th, when they will play in the Green and Gold Tournament at Cecil Community College (Md.)
