Vivian Lehman '25 Earns Sons of the American Revolution Eagle Scout of the Year

On Sunday, April 13, Vivian Lehman '25 received the Sons of the American Revolution Eagle Scout of the Year award from the Cradle of Liberty Council of Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts). Media VFW Post 3460 Commander Mike Baker presented the Scout of the Year award to Vivian of Troop 2019 in Wallingford. Vivian was nominated by her troop leader Mia Painter, who said when the Boy Scouts of America became Scouting America, Vivian planted the seed with Mia to form a troop for girls. After earning her rank of Eagle Scout, Vivian continued her involvement with the troop and is now working towards becoming the assistant Scoutmaster of her troop.
