Project Engineers for the State of Delaware Speak to Engineering and Design Classes

Last week, Mr. Creekmore's Engineering & Design Practicum and Mrs. Silverman's AP3D Design classes enjoyed a lecture by Marie Burns, Paul Huhn, & Nick Dean, Project Engineers for the State of Delaware, and specialists in bridge design projects of the Delaware Department of Transportation.
They discussed their career pathways to becoming engineers and also provided a thorough overview of the multi-step design process. Both AP3D Design & Engineering Design students have been using TinkerCAD for 3D modeling and exploring bridge design.
 
Students were inspired to think creatively across boundaries and explore design-driven careers.
