Volleyball Rallies for Five Set Win over DMA
Archmere’s volleyball team faced its longest match of the season on September 16th on the road at Delaware Military Academy. Despite losing a two-set advantage, they bounced back for the win in a five-set thriller against the Seahawks. Set scores were 25-22, 25-14, 23-25, 20-25, and 15-11.
Grace Mahoney '27 led the team with 22 kills, while Bridget Malloy '26 had 13 with three blocks, and Lilly Guzevich '27 recorded11 kills, 13 digs and 38 assists. Mike Lang of the Dialog covered the back and forth five set match, writing, "Except for the second set, which was won convincingly by the Auks, this one was a tight affair throughout."
