    Parents of Class of 2018 College Transition Program

    Archmere will welcome in a guest speaker from a local college or university to speak with parents aabout the transition from high school to college.  In addition to the speaker, we will welcome back other past parents for a panel to share what they've learned

    Archmere will welcome in a guest speaker from a local college or university to speak with students about the transition from high school to college. This is a required event for all seniors with Commencement Practice immediately following.  In addition to the speaker, students will have a final farewell from your Counselors and a video from Archmere alumni with their advice and well wishes.

    Archmere Robotics Camp

    Archmere Robotics Camp
    June 18-21
    9 am - 12 pm
    FOR STUDENTS ENTERING 6TH – 8TH GRADE
    • The camp is held at Archmere Academy (3600 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703)
    • Participants will work with Lego Mindstorms and Tetrix robotics. As the week progresses, they will build, program, and compete with the Lego Mindstorms robots. The high school students will introduce participants to FTC (First Tech Challenge, the level above Lego League) and teach how to build with Tetrix. There will also be an opportunity to learn about programming the NAO humanoid robot.
    • Deadline for Registration is June 1st, mail checks to the Archmere Academy Main Office. Cost is $150.00  Upon completion of survey, more information will be sent.

    As high school students, we understand how busy parents can be, so we are offering before and after care. Before care starts at 7:30, and aftercare ends at 12:30

    Archmere Robotics Camp

    9 am - 12 pm
    FOR STUDENTS ENTERING 6TH – 8TH GRADE
    • The camp is held at Archmere Academy (3600 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703)
    • Participants will work with Lego Mindstorms and Tetrix robotics. As the week progresses, they will build, program, and compete with the Lego Mindstorms robots. The high school students will introduce participants to FTC (First Tech Challenge, the level above Lego League) and teach how to build with Tetrix. There will also be an opportunity to learn about programming the NAO humanoid robot.

    St. Norbert College, De Pere, Wisconsin
    Leadership training and activities will occur throughout the week. Students will participate in a low-and-high ropes course.  Studdents wil also perform service work over the week and tour St. Norbert Abbey, the mother Abbey of Daylesford Abbey, Archmere's sponsoring institution. In addition, students will visit historic Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers and Badger Sports Park, an arcarde, laser tag, and go kart facility.
