Please review the contents and make note of the deadlines for those items that must be completed and sent back to Archmere. We also have many events scheduled for you and your parents as we welcome our newest Auks! We will be sure to reach out with any updates to the calendar.

When can I pick up my laptop?
All incoming students and transfer students will receive their laptops during New Student Orientation in August.During laptop distribution, we will review key components of Archmere’s Acceptable Use Policy and walk students through logging into their laptops and setting up Google Drive. All students are required to complete the online tech orientation before the first day of school. Please see the student account instructions for more information. -
Who should I contact for specific questions?

Where do I find out about books and textbooks?
Books can be ordered online AFTER students receive their schedules. Detailed information will be included with each student’s schedule. Textbook information will also be available on the My Archmere portal. Please note: for Pennsylvania residents, Archmere offers the PA Book Program and detailed information will be emailed to all Pennsylvania students with their schedules. -
Do I need to purchase school supplies?
Generally, students need a notebook for each class, as well as pens and pencils. Teachers will provide specific lists of any additional supplies on the first day of school. Please note: All students are required to purchase a TI 84 Plus calculator (TI 84 Plus CE is preferred, but Plus Silver Edition is also acceptable). Calculators are available at Amazon, Best Buy, Target, etc. Pennsylvania students may be able to secure a calculator through the PA Book Program. -
How do I select my world language and elective choice and find information on courses?
Your Elective and World Language Choice Form is due by May 6. Please contact Mr. Dougherty, Director of Academics, to answer questions regarding registration and scheduling policies and practices.

How do I purchase school uniforms?

How do I see Summer Reading lists?
The updated summer reading lists will be posted to the Parent and Student Resouces pages in MyArchmere by the beginning of the summer. -
I am planning on playing a fall sport. Where do I get more information?
Students can learn more about fall sports by visiting www.aukssports.com and select your sport for more information. Also, the DIAA forms that need to be filled out by every athlete can be found here.
All student athletes must have their Magnus Health form (available Monday, June 15) and concussion test confirmation for Student Eligibility completed online by August 1.

This past weekend, Archmere Academy students took part in the annual Youth in Government (YIG) Conference in Dover, Delaware, an immersive three-day program sponsored by the YMCA that brings together student delegations from across the state. One Hundred and Seven Archmere Student Photographs to be Exhibited at the Brandywine River Museum
Archmere Academy’s National Art Honor Society students will have one hundred and seven student landscape photographs exhibited in a dedicated show for Archmere Academy. Archmere’s National Art Honor Society Presidents are Olivia Benson ’26 and Abby Leonardo ’26, and Stephanie Silverman ’00 serves as the faculty sponsor. Students Recognized in DePaul's Blue Book for Best American High School Writing 2026
The Editorial Staff of DePaul’s Blue Book: Best American High School Writing 2026, has recognized the writings of several Archmere Tapestry students. The following students are Finalists: Megan Shaposky for "Sunbath"; Chloe Li for "Mermaid Omakase"; Julia Krajewski for "The Rabbit"; and Kendall Hanna for "Songs of the Forgotten". Two student works were chosen for inclusion in the publication: “Sister and Dog” by Karina Ong and “Anatomy of a Cigarette” by Chloe Li. Mock Trial Team Successfully Competes at the Justice Center in Wilmington
The Delaware High School Mock Trial Competition took place on March 5 and 6, 2026 at the Leonard L. Williams Justice Center. The two Archmere teams were awarded 4th and 5th place in the competition. Both Varsity and JV teams progressed through three victories and a narrow defeat in the semifinal round.Read More
